Opinion of fast food
Currently one can see that chained fast-food stores have extended all over the world. The population of purchasing fast-food is astonishingly high in human’s daily life. For my perspective, I think that those quick foods are gross and unhealthy as junk because the material of fast-food merchandise includes high levels of cholesterol, fats and salt which can cause obesity and heart-diseases if people absorb them too much. It’s probably not dangerous or hazardous to eat hamburgers, pizza, French fries, or fried chicken once per a month. But if people chew these diversities of food frequently, we cannot predict how horrible the disaster will happen. After that, in the modern society people are too busy to cook meals at their own houses, and this phenomenon leads the growth of instant food because of its convenience and low-priced costs.

Grammar Quiz
The first difficult situation I am confronting is obtaining more confidence in getting along with American. Due to deficiency of oral interpreting, it takes me too much time to express an idea or viewpoint during normal conversation. The embarrassment from the vocabularies and pronunciation mistakes continuously frustrates my mind even though my American peers are very friendly and patient to listen to what I’ve said. I know it’s no way better than keeping practicing with persistence. I must catch up every single chance to give a talk with native speakers in every occasion as long as I want to reach the improvement of using English.
Another hardship I am having is regulating the discipline in learning and planning my schedule. I personally prefer to make my life casual and easy, but life is a serious challenge. It often been said that successes is made from discipline and orders. I usually don’t follow the routine to face my life because perhaps I like random surprises and unpredictable creativity. However, in fact, my daily life is messy now. I neither reach any achievement in my learning nor concentrate on the focusing of academy. There is abundant temptation around my environment, and I’d better determine my mind to transform myself into a convincing organizer; otherwise, l cannot survive by the luck.

Obese children outgrowing kids' clothing and furniture

This news article deliberates that the growth of children obesity has been affecting the size of school furniture and kids' cloth, and this phenomenon reflects that American teenagers' health condition has become a significant issue. Moreover, the article also mentions how to make improvement which is given from Michelle Obama on overweight students.
I posted the news because the keeping healthy is a global concern. In fact, now I'm trying to deal with my obese body. After finishing this article, I entirely agree with the point given from Mr. Lebron because the main purpose of losing weight is being healthier gradually not attempting a good-looking outfit. The practical and beneficial motivation are actually encouragement and confidence from colleague's honesty and sympathy. For example, when my friends reminds me about my heavy weight, I wouldn't feel depressed because I know they hope me have a good body status, and they don't want me feel embarrassed and shamed.

No regrets about Jeremy Lin, just joy Bruce Jenkins
Link:

The article indicated that Jeremy Lin who was traded from Warriors to the Knicks had astonishing performance in recent games. Jeremy has not only reversed Knicks' bad situation but also rescued his coach's job.
I posted this article because Jeremy, the first Asian point guard in NBA and a reverent christian, has broken the stereotype that Asians are lack of athletic proficiency due to its physical conditions. As for me, Jeremy is humble and diligent even though now he has become a shining spotlight. Unlike most American players, he use the simplest way without any over-decorated styles to encounter his opponents and get the score. He knows what he is supposed to do or not to do whenever he attacks or defenses. I respect him because of his personalities. He inspire his teammates and all of the audience dramatically. He seems to run with angels or invisible power, and people cannot anticipate what surprising thing he will present in next second.

Advice to International Students
In my point of view, international students who are attending colleges or universities in America should learn sorts of cooking skills because the price of restaurants’ meal in the States is extraordinarily higher than most countries; otherwise, students probably would consume too much board expenses so that they aren’t able to use their budget on other fields such as entertainment, academic learning, commodities and so on. On the contrary, cooking at home and purchasing foods from grocery stores help people not only speculate money but also arrange people’s pocket economically. Additionally, foreign students should hang out with Americans in order to get accustomed to the Western culture gradually, even though getting along with friends being native from the motherland give us relaxation and confidence. For example, an Asian student who majors in English definitely has to use the language frequently. Through communicating and co-working with American students, he or she can make progresses of learning English effectively.

Grammar Practicing
I was born in Taiwan where is located near by the Mainland China. My home is in a tranquil town. During my college period, I had lived in Taipei city for 5 years, which is the capital of Taiwan. I am usually laid-back and friendly. Due to my contradictory personalities, sometime I become very wild and insanely crazy, sometime I would keep quite and say nothing. I'd like to play basketball, watch sports game, surf internet and play music as my hobbits. My dream is becoming a professional violinist and musician who have opportunities to tour around the world. In addition, cultural difference is one of my favorite thing that I'm looking for. By meeting many friends from different nation, I'm able to learn and exchange the specialties of unique customs from other countries. I only have an older sister in my family, and she is also current student in University of Hartford.
One hazardous experience occurred in my childhood. I used to ride a bicycle with my father in the weekends morning when I was a 8th grade student. A Saturday morning, we went to a natural attractive spot of a mountain hill which is close my home. There were challenging series of steep slopes on the passages. While we were going downhill, I started to accelerate to enjoy the excitement even though my Dad had warned me not to speed up. After that, the horrible things happened. Before I approached an extraordinary curve, I couldn't stop immediately because my break systems were not able to handle with sudden situation. Eventually, I hit into a rigid tree, and I got hurt seriously. My Dad now still cannot tell how worried and upset he was at that time.
I'm going enroll the Hartt school after graduating from English Language Institute. Moreover, I will play more recitals, concerts and chamber music programs in the future. I'm so excited to cooperate with other musicians.
